I bought a ready made pendant in the craft section of Wal-Mart then took it apart I kept the Key and rose added  Bells and beads in blue and A pewter heart cog that I made. I like it I think I like it enough that I would wear it. BTW I really hope my partner for this swap doesn't check my blog because She hasn't received this yet.

Sewing Kit

The cover
I made this for a swap. Ir is completely made with stuff I already owned. I use a linen Rayon Blend of the fabrics I beaded the thread on the cover. I just need a little pair of scissors for it to be complete. (I have them I just have to find them. Did you notice I made it open backwards? This was not on purpose. Welcome to my world of Dyslexia. Oh well it is nice despite that. and it adds a little story about the maker.

Washing dishes with bacon

Crocheted Bacon

More Crocheted Bacon
NOT Bacon!
If you haven't ever used a crocheted or knitted dish cloth you don't know what you are missing. They are really easy to make. They are great starter projects. and if you can't make one buy one from a crafter it is worth the $5 or $6 they charge. Considering the time and material put in that isn't even close the Minimum wage.

Crocheting

This is a Daisey. No really, it is. I think it reminds me of a sun from a little kids drawing. But all the younger kids who saw me working on it knew what it was right off the bat.

Christmas gift tagsI made these 25

I made these 25 gift tags because I was wrapping gifts to take to Thanks Giving for our AR family

I used Crayola Stardust papers and scrap-booking paper and colored and white card stocks along with some rubber stamps and cut with scissors plain or edgers, and also I used stenciled shapes. I didn't go and buy anything it all came from my stash.

I felt this was wintry with out being overly Christmas

I really like this stamp It reminds me of the detailing on Victorian houses which is called gingerbread.

I used white ink then put clear embossing powder for the snow flakes

Here I combined some mini ornaments I bought some years back on clearance with the paper elements I made.

I just think these are cute.

I hand wrote on the backs of most To: & From:

Cauldron Pin Cushion

Cauldron pin cushion
I used a plastic cauldron I had left over for 10 or 11 year from one of my sons birthday parties. I decided to turn it into a pin cushion. at the point that I took this photos I haven't glued the top down because the handle holds it just fine, and I probably will not bother too.

Sea shell Bead dish

Sea shell
I collect shells when ever I go to the shore. I love collecting shells and beach glass and stones. In fact I collect rocks and minerals from every wear I go and some of my friends even bring them to me. I have a piece of the Berlin wall and a stone from the quarry that the stone hinge stones are from. Here I am using this shell as a dish for the Beads I was using for a project.
I also use shells as palates or water dishes when Painting.

Home Coming

My favorite subject to photograph.
This is her Homecoming we went to a park to take pic's she and her friend wanted to play on the swings and other stuff.
Since then I have discovered that my camera has an action setting on it. Using it gets me clearer photos right in a row.

Maskeerades

I made this mask for a masked ball ("All Hallows Eve) so it had to be comfortable enough to wear while dancing. And it really was. I started with a plastic mask that had glitter on it. it also had some gold trim so I removed that. I will be wearing it at the other dancing event that is coming up (Feet for Feat a night of Dance)
I will be putting my trim bits that i don't want into a bag in a special place to donate for others to use for mask making next year as well. I may also endeavor to make a fancier one next year just because I can.
