Lamp worked headed pins

 The way that I go about making these is to take a  corsage pin and remove the top plastic piece (I crush them with pliers) Unlike making beads on a mandrel. there is no bead release needed.
These are mushrooms they are going in the project bag needle case I showed you yesterday.
I also make these as hair pins for use in costuming  (garb) in The SCA (Medieval Reenactment) yes I stick pins in my hair to hold it up. I tend to blunt them a little before this use.

First Batch Practice

Lining a snood. I do some piece work once in a great while for Lady Mac Snood. She has me line snoods for special orders for her. It gets me a ticket or to to a ren fair now and again. I do 2 to 4 a year for her.

A Mug Swap

In the swaps I am doing this is the Mug swap. which is funny because the thing not in this post is the Mug. I made a tea wallet. A reversible yarn bag. It is designed so that is can have one skein of yarn in it and you can pull the yarn from the top there are pockets all the way around on both the inside and the outside. (remember reversible) it is opposite colors on the inside. there is a hair stylist charm Bracelet (guess what my partner does for a living) There are stitch markers and a stitch marker carrier that is a crocheted flower, she is also a crocheter. She likes earthy and green so I hope I pick out good colors for her. I got her a stainless steel mug, I will post that next week if I don't do that tomorrow. I did have to get material for this project a half yard of each of the green. I had the yarn for the flower, I also bought the charms and clasps that I used for the stitch markers. Oh yah and Chocolate because every thing is better with it. I had the bracelet I had got years ago and planed to use the charms for a pin for my mother but she quite doing hair and went to nursing instead. Most every thing was on sale clearances or I had a coupon to get is 40% off or more. I try never to go into a craft store with out a coupon in hand. every thing fits into the pockets of the bag and it is so small when it is all gathered I hope she is surprised as she unpacks it.

Loud scarf loud hat Loud girl

Hey look There she is getting ready to leave for her friends house. And My DH got her to smile for the camera. She is so pretty when she smiles. And she is sporting a new hair color it is an ash brown.

Head Band

I found this fun yarn that I used of a stocking exchange. well just to be safe I bought four skeins of it (it was only $1 for each) but it turned out I only need one skein per stocking so I had two left over. I used one and made this head band this is very me.

Loud hat to match the scarf. and a cool necklace

I Finished the Loud hat to match the scarf. here it is on the DD. she look thrilled. She doesn't feel well and was willing to pose but not willing to look happy about posing.

While I have this photo up look at the cool necklace she is wearing she made it out of duct tape. She is too cool.

A Loud Hat

So I have been working on a hat to match the loud scarf I made for My DD. But I messed up and made it way to small. I just finished a new one. I am now out of the main Yarn that I used for these projects. I am fulling the other hat right now and Will post Pics of it when it is dry.

head band

this is a head band I made with some sparkley yarn I found. I was looking for it is a blue but I couldn't find any. I finally found this at Joann fabrics in the section that has the pompoms. It was only 99 cents. which isn't that cheep if you think about how little yarn you get. but for a spakley head band it is a good price. It is made by crochet in a circle till I ran out of yarn. It is the closest I get to a halo. (:

Pumpkin top

My daughter finds nothing funny about having a chemical reaction occurrence on her hair. I however am not her. She was ok with it at first till she went to school and was called pumkin and cheese puff all day. Then her evil mom made her this!

Hair Clippies

My DD like Hello Kitty, I made these on blank clips I buy them at Jo-Ann Fabrics in the quilting department when ever they are half off. I used the cheep solid ribin that is 5 abd 10 yards ob the spool that I also bought on sale at the same place. I may or may not have gotton the shiny poka-dot there. the Hello Kitty Butons I cot on Ebay for .99 Cents plus shipping.
She very much like them. :)
